Things to do
Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall are loaded with activities in our recreational area.

In the WInter, take advantage of over 500 miles of groomed trails that are interconnected throughout Lewis County as well as connections with Oneida, Herkimer, and Jefferson Counties. With our breakfasts planned around your schedules, you can conveniently eat and be on your way at your preferred time. Also, there is Snow Ridge with its downhill slopes of various levels and cross-country ski trails. In addition, Whetstone Gulf State Park is within a few miles and offers cross-country ski trails as well as the Canal Trail in Boonville and other area trails. There are suitable for snowshoeing, as well. There are a few winter festivals, snowmobile racing events, as well as ski racing in the area. There is an annual Kite Skiing event that is in a ideal area of snow and wind on the Tug Hill.

In the spring, take advantage of the many streams and rivers in Lewis County for fishing, kayaking and canoeing. There is a boat launch for the Black River within an eighth of a mile from our establishment.

In the Summer, we are an economical place to stay for reunions, weddings (any season), special events in the area or just to visit. We have several golf courses in the area. We are a 45 minute drive to Old Forge for the many tourist attractions of that area. There is the Constable Hall museum and the Lewis County Historical Society, as well as other historical attractions. In August, we are a short distance from the New York State Woodsmen’s Field Days with lots of fun competition in log rolling, climbing, chopping, and sawing for youth, men and ladies.

In the Fall, perhaps you would like to have a get away weekend with some gals and do some scrap booking. Tables can be set up for this and we can accommodate up to 8 people. Call for details. Perhaps you would like to try the local hunting for whitetail deer, turkeys, or other game. In September, for family fun try the Cream Cheese Festival in nearby Lowville, NY.
